“We do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as LORD, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ―but we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God, and not from us,” (2 Corinthians 4:5-7).

Who are we? Working at the Hogar Esperanza, a homeless shelter and aged care facility in eastern Paraguay, has brought us to a new level in awareness of the brevity of life. Nothing really matters more than to know Christ Jesus, to be known by Him, and to share what He gave us―the hope of everlasting life―with those around us. For this reason―alongside what we do, day in, day out, at the home―we are also glad to share the Truth on-line. Because of where we live, the materials need to appear in three languages (a Spanish page, and a German page will be coming soon, Lord willing). Micah Russell designs and publishes the website. He also works with Peter Hoover on the English text. All of this coming together within the fellowship and support of churches near and far, that make the work possible.
